Xiaomi brings new audio glasses to countries outside China. They attract with long battery life and lightweight design

Chinese technology giant Xiaomi has introduced its Smart Audio Glasses to the global market, combining stylish glasses with audio functions. The novelty was previously only available in China under the Mijia brand for 1,199 yuan, which is approximately 3,800 CZK. They do not have a display, but they do feature speakers for comfortable listening without headphones.

Sound that doesn’t disturb anyone

Xiaomi Smart Audio Glasses rely on air conduction, allowing you to simultaneously perceive your surroundings and listen to music or make phone calls. Inside the glasses is an ultrasonic speaker SLS0820 combined with advanced algorithms for sound optimization, ensuring quality reproduction of both bass and treble. An interesting feature is the double sound leakage protection, which uses inverse sound waves and a special insulating membrane, keeping your phone call private even in a quiet environment.

Smart Audio Glasses offer intuitive touch controls on the side frames. Double-tap to play or pause music, swipe to adjust volume or switch tracks, and long-press to activate the voice assistant. The glasses also automatically detect when you are wearing them – playback pauses when you take them off. Xiaomi also considered the fashion aspect, which is why the glasses feature a patented detachable hinge that allows for easy replacement of frames according to your preference. They also have IP54 resistance against dust and splashing water.

Battery with all-day endurance

Xiaomi can boast impressive battery life with its smart glasses. On a single charge, they can handle 10 hours of music playback, 7 hours of calls, or 24 hours of normal use. In standby mode, they last up to 11 days. Charging is done via a USB-C port, and the glasses reach one hundred percent from zero in just two hours. Wearing comfort is ensured by the low weight of 40 grams and ergonomic design.

Compatibility with prescription lenses

For users who need prescription lenses, Xiaomi Smart Audio Glasses bring good news – the glasses can be fitted with prescription lenses in the same way as regular glasses. Several frame styles are also available for separate purchase, including elegant business variants and more modern designs for everyday wear.

Price and availability

Currently, it is unclear whether Xiaomi’s new audio glasses will ever be launched on the domestic market, but given their listing on the manufacturer’s website, there is a certain probability. Xiaomi has not yet revealed the price for countries outside China.
