Xiaomi introduced a new standing air conditioner called Xiaomi Mijia Pro Energy-Saving Standing Air Conditioner (2HP). As the name suggests, the air conditioner offers a cooling capacity of 2 HP, which can be understood as roughly 5.2 kW. The air flow of the air conditioner is up to **1,560** **m³/h**, which appears to be a powerful solution for rooms up to 30 m² – i.e., larger living rooms or studio apartments.

Air dispersion is handled by the outlet solution, which, according to the manufacturer, increases the outlet area by 117% and allows dispersion at a 115° angle. The result should be uniform cooling of the entire room.

Inside the air conditioner is a two-cylinder compressor, which excels particularly during long-term operation at low speeds; according to Xiaomi, it improves **performance stability at** **low frequency by 30%**. This helps maintain a constant temperature without excessive energy consumption.

Also interesting is the integrated artificial intelligence named **Lingyun**, whose unit monitors room temperature conditions in real-time and adjusts cooling or heating cycles accordingly. The result should be up to 40% energy savings, which is common in modern inverter air conditioners anyway.

Xiaomi Mijia Pro Standing Air Conditioner also features smart functions

The air conditioner can be connected to a smart home and controlled remotely via **HyperOS Connect** and in the Mi Home app; voice control using the XiaoAI assistant is also available. It also supports OTA (Over the Air) updates, meaning it can receive updates and other smart features in the future.

Also standard is a **self-cleaning mode**, which is designed to prevent mold formation and thus extend the device’s lifespan. An elegant LED panel also displays the operating status. As for living with the air conditioner, its noise level should be minimal thanks to quiet operation.
