Gemini Live now supports Calendar, Keep, Tasks, and Maps. What can it do?

Google has been gradually expanding the capabilities of its Gemini Live service for a long time. The artificial intelligence in Live mode will now work with the Calendar, Keep, Tasks, and Maps applications. This means that users will be able to set reminders, notes, or events during conversations. The new connection also works with the camera – for example, you can simply take a photo of a poster with a date, or a paper shopping list, and Gemini will transfer it into digital form for you.

According to Reddit user u/gabigtr123, who also provided screenshots for the announcement of the new feature, an application icon should appear at the bottom of the screen during a conversation with Gemini Live, indicating which app the Live mode is interacting with.

If the action is successful, Gemini Live will provide confirmation; and if you made a mistake, you can immediately undo the change. The collaboration with Google Maps is also great – they will provide information about the location you mention during the conversation.

How to verify the functionality of the new feature in Gemini Live?

According to available information, the new integration is starting to be gradually rolled out on Android devices from today, although it may not yet be officially available to everyone.

You can easily verify availability anyway; just enter Gemini Live mode and ask the artificial intelligence if it is able to add a reminder to the calendar, details to notes, and so on.

If Gemini does not yet have this capability at the moment, it is simply a matter of waiting. Google also promises that it plans further integrations across its ecosystem in the future.
